This is an open group for men, who have dual issues of addiction and mental illness and who are in need of support and feedback related to recovery and mental health.
Possible topics of discussion can include:
- The changing role of men as a result of their addiction
- Repairing relationships
- The meaning of masculinity and potential conflicts in treatment.
- Myths about manhood (“Boys don’t cry”)
- Fatherhood and addiction
Clients do not have to be in the Dual Diagnosis program to participate but do need to have dual issues.
This is an ongoing group that meets once a week.
Please see your treatment provider (therapist, psychiatrist, etc.) if you are interested in attending.
Referrals can be submitted to Jenny Row.
